Please read before registering your router.

1. Service Description

Dakar Billing provides hotspot billing, router management, and M-Pesa payment processing for businesses operating Wi-Fi hotspots in Kenya.

2. Fees & Billing

Registration fee: KSh 500 one-time, non-refundable once the configuration script is downloaded.
First month: Free from the date of registration.
Monthly fee: KSh 750 per router, billed from month 2 onwards.
Payment method: M-PESA STK Push to your registered phone number.
Grace period: 3 days after a failed payment. Service is suspended if unpaid after grace.

3. Router Registration

Each router must have a unique MAC address.
Owner routers (Dakar Billing's own) are exempt from all fees.
You are responsible for the physical security and power supply of your router.

4. Acceptable Use

No illegal activity on your network — fraud, spam, or attacks.
You are responsible for your customers' activity.
Service may be suspended for abuse or non-payment.

5. Data & Privacy

We collect business name, phone, and router MAC for provisioning.
M-Pesa transactions are processed by Safaricom and never stored on our servers.
Connection logs are retained for up to 30 days.
